How wonderful it is to be blessed with the life I have! I get so discouraged or down at times, but I know how lucky I am to have so many blessings in my life. This week my mother in law passed away. She battled with diabetes for years and in the last 5 years had bone cancer. She was 73yrs old. One of the strongest, caring people I know. Even in her pain she always had a smile and was worried about everyone else.
She gave us many good memories! She also gave me my wonderful husband and three beautiful children! What support they have been through this journey of life! This week has shown me what a wonderful family and friends we have in our lives and how we all encourage and support each other. One little word or gesture can go a long way.
How blessed I was to get to exercise this week even with the new school and y schedule and all we have been dealing with this week. It's so nice to know your family and friends support you and cheer you on. How great exercise helps through the stressful times even when you don't feel like doing it. I meant with my trainer this week. It's wonderful, she inspires me and shows me how far I have come in 8 months. She said the word for this week was catapult. How strong I am getting. I could hardly hold a plank in January and now I can hold it pretty good. It's amazing what we can accomplish when are minds are set!
This week I also had to buy new clothes. I needed a new swimsuit for my water aerobic class and swim class. Also I needed a pair of dress pants and a dress since everything else is to big. It's awesome to go shopping and enjoy it again! Somedays its still hard to believe I was 223lbs in January and now I am in the low 160's. WOW!!! I love having more self confidence. I know I am changing, but it is still amazing. I love hearing my hubby saying how proud he is of me and hearing everyone's compliments! It's great being the one helping to inspire others to live a healthy life.
That's only a few of my blessings, but I'll keep on counting them and try not to take them for granted. Thank you Lord for all you have given me! To my mother in law, thanx for all the memories you have given me and I hope I will be as strong as you have been in your life. Until we meet again everyone, God bless!
