Diet Saboteur

My worst diet saboteur is me. When I am hungry I fall prey to the easy to prepare. I want food instantly and I don't want to cook it. I don't really even care if it tastes good, it would be nice, but it isn't necessary.

That sounds awful. I can see the solution. I need to pre-make my lunches so that they are as easy as the not-so-good for me foods. Sigh. That still means spending time cooking and preparing food. Not so fun at all.

I will have to work on a plan for his one...

    IDK if you;ve tried looking up Spark recipes? They have alot of easy recipes for every meal. Maybe u could find something on there that is easy and inexpensive to make for yourself. I've made alot of their dinners and they're really good and pretty cheap to make. Check it out, ya never know. Those processed foods are quick (believe me, before SP I was a BIG fan of them) but they are SO loaded with every bad nutrient u can think of starting with sodium and work your way through. Anyway, that was my advice...Good luck to you...Courtney emoticon

    It definitely takes time to get used to preparing stuff and having it available. I still eat a lot of convenience foods which I know is frowned upon, but I will eat easy mac, frozen veggies, chicken nuggets and stuff at work mainly because it keeps me away from the fast food. Hopefully you can get into some sort of routine and it won't be so daunting. And take the help where you can get it (with easily prepared foods). You can do it! emoticon
