So, Can I pull this off?

Seriously I need opinions!

Here is a pic of the outfit, except the leather vest, just a black tank. Should I put on more clothes or does it look good?

here is the reference again

I admit, I am not that long or thin, but it doesn't look that bad to me. I may look for a black corset for it. I am little concerned about my pudge hanging out....

Edit for clarity for non-cosplayers: yes it's a costume ( I don't, can't dress like that in RL), one bought at stores, yes, but an easy thing to get together in a hurry... The character is Lightning and this outfit was DLC for the Final Fantasy Dissida game when you bought 3rd birthday. It's the lead character, Aya Brea's default outfit in 3rd birthday on Lightning, They do weird things like this.

My main question is should I be seen in public in it. I have the wig too, just not up to shoving my hair in it tonight.

Looks great. Throw in a gunblade ('Tis a gunblade, yes?) and you're good to go.And no pudge to be seen so no worries there.

Looks good to me! I'm always cautious about corsets because what they don't send up they send down, if you know what I mean.

ooooooooooooooooooooh okay , yes it's very close , the tank is fine instead of a leather vest.... you look good I was just wondering if it was a costume or not... believe me i've seen people go out in that for everyday life hahaha....
I think you did a fine job , looks like even the belt matches... good luck !

TBH, it looks fine to me! If you were going to get a chance to make the vest, I don't think you'd need a corset. Even if it's faux leather, it should have enough support.
