Nothing like spending the whole weekend with a fever! I'm pretty sure I have strep throat. Oh the joys of working in the educational system. I'm pretty annoyed with my immune system not being more on top of things. Come on immune system! Pick your game up. You're letting the team down!

I always have high aspirations for the prepping and organizing I'm going to do on the weekend in order to stay on track during the week. But more often than not, life gets in the way. The further into this fitness journey I get, the more amazed I am that anyone loses weight -ever. Instead of making my turkey meatballs, soup and energy balls (i have an awesome recipe, ask me about it) and catching up on all the housework I blew off during the week, I'll just stay in bed and try to pretend it doesn't feel like I'm being smacked in the skull with a sledgehammer. I won't even mention how it was absolutely gorgeous today and would've been perfect for a trail run. Why torture myself thinking about that??

I haven't done C25K in like 2 weeks now. I guess I should probably just start over. Before this I had the worst UTI of my life and a possible kidney stone and before that I was taking a break because of shin splints. I feel like its always 1 step forward and 2 steps back with me. What's up with that, I ask?!

At least I pinned a lot of great stuff on pinterest. That's almost like being productive right?

    If you're eating really well and you're constantly having health issues, it could be your body detoxing.

    Sorry to hear you had such a bad weekend. I can feel your pain (kind of) since I have been dealing with a double ear infection the last few days. Hope you feel better soon!

BTW, I am interested in hearing about that recipe!

    What a rough weekend. Life does get in the way sometimes but we have to keep pushing. It's so much easier to say than do. Let your body rest and once you feel better you will be back in the swing of things.
