Trying to stay on track

I'm writing because I was maintaining my weight for the last couple of months but within the past week noticed that I've gained almost three pounds. I seem to get to one area on the scale and then it doesn't want to decrease. Instead of losing a few more pounds, I seem to gain 2-3 from time to time. I would really like to lose at least 10 lbs. I'm happy with maintaining but would be happier with losing. I need support from people that have been through this before and that I can check in with pretty frequently.
I've been through a lot of changes in the last couple of months in my personal life and the diet seems to fall to the wayside.
