Beginning of week #5 AND the Final Five pounds to lose!!!

It's been a long stretch getting to this point of the journey. Actually, I have been very close to my final five a couple of times since joining SP. I feel like I can really see the end coming this time. DH and I have been following this eating plan with HCG drops for four weeks now. The most "cheating" we have done is eating a couple of grams more meat than called for once in a while. It occurs simply because when we cut the portions, some are slightly more than the guidelines. It certainly has not been anything to be concerned about since both of us continue to loss weight.

We are targeted to follow the plan for two more weeks. By then I should definitely reach the goal I've been desiring for over 5 years now. Then we start the process of gradually adding other foods make into our eating.

I do fine myself looking forward to that process. However, at the same time, I have learned enough with this eating plan that I am confident we will be adding in more of the healthy food rather than "junk food". I will definitely be using many of the recipes and menus we have had on this plan, just slightly bigger servings.

More than adding in the foods, I look forward to becoming more involved with running and strength training again! I've missed those activities much more than the food. I have done some ST and aerobics, but not as much I as usually do. I look to work up my running to where I should be stronger and faster than before since I have less weight to slow me down.

So here we go - onward and forward!! emoticon
