Last Friday night, my friend Sandy spent the night so we could make sure we were both up early to try to catch another sunrise. It's a 40 to 45 minute drive so I was up at 3:30 am and woke my friend at 4:12 am. As we drove up the high way, the sky kept getting lighter and lighter. I was so afraid we'd miss it because it happens so quickly.
Lucky us, we made it there on time and unbeknownst to me at that time, my friend had NEVER seen a sunrise. It really is pretty awesome, ESPECIALLY when it comes up "from" the ocean.
As you can probably tell by some of my previous blogs, I just LOVE taking pictures, and as a matter of fact, last Saturday I took over 600 of them. My camera has a "continuous" button so you can just hold the button down & it keeps snapping away. I tend to get carried away. Ha, ha, ha!
So any way, below are just a few of the pictures I took last Saturday, starting with our gorgeous "Blue Moon".
See the moons reflection in the water?
Look on the horizon, I'm hoping yu are able to see a TINY, little sliver of orange, THAT dear people is the sun, just poking his head above the water.
This is the last of the pix of the sunrise that I'm sharing. The next pictures were taken in normal daylight, probably around 8 o'clock in the morning and later.
Colorful sea weed.
Of course, in between of all this photography, I went on my usual walk, from the north jetty, 1 1/2 miles to the south jetty.
These flowers were seen along our return trip to the north jetty. we cam back via the boardwalk.
No, I did not eat all that food. Sandy and I ordered the same thing, but yes, once again, I did not eat a healthy meal.
Thanks bunches for sharing my sunrise with me. I sure wish you could be here to see in in real life.
