Just started Leaves of Change Fall 2012 Amethyst BLC Team challenge and our 1st Inter team challenge is to identify 5 obstacles / things that might be holding us back from reaching our goals.
This is a great activity to be doing let's face it we all know there are things that hold us back and keep us from achieving success but we often are not willing to admit to what our trouble areas are.
I have identified some areas a few not much I can do to change them but I will have ot find a way ot work around them!
1st and my biggest obstacle / challenge is my work schedule there are day that I work mid shift hours any where from start time of 10 AM up to going into work for noon start shift . This is really hard as I'm not cooking dinner when I get home at 930 or 10 PM so basically I am at work for 2 meals but with one meal break Most of the time I'm not choosing very well
This one I have been trying to work on for a couple of weeks now on my 1st break I eat a sandwich that I have brought from home then on my hour break eat another sandwich with some kind of fruit.

friday Donuts are sent in to break room from the bakery (I work as a cashier) I have such a sweet tooth its hard not to indulge and no support at work not ot do so I think its misery loves company everyone Else's doing it so you are encourage to join them.
3 I have Rheumatoid Autoimmune Arthritis there are days and some times weeks it is very hard to work out the whole body hurts and just not willing to do what the mind has set for it to do.
4 Late night binging / snacking if I don't get a real meal at dinner time I pig out on complete junk like I am doing as we speak.
5 My own attitude is my biggest obstacle I think negatively toward obesity we will just leave it there for now Until I get a right frame of mind I beleive I will always be struggling with my weight and keeping it off for good
Healthy Change Bonus: is reflecting on one of the 5 things ot work on over the fall challenge so I will be working on no night time snacking after 8pm and if I must have something it will be a piece of fruit or a protein shake I am willing ot work on donut Friday and not allowing peer pressure to entice me to that donut (I'm almost 52 years old peer pressure shouldn't be a problem for someone my age)
