Visit to the Chiropractor!

Friday, September 07, 2012

Hi Sparkies, I have been MIA as far as blogging is concerned for a really long time. I had my busy season in mid July to mid August and it was impossible to blog. Then in the process of trying to be an excellent employee, I triggered some serious back pains. I had a fall some time in 2008 and the only pain I felt after the fall was on a really long flight from Denver to Kenya. I saw a doc after that and he told me that the x-rays showed no serious damage. He gave me a few painkillers and after a week I was perfectly fine.

I think I just pushed myself too hard this time because the pain came back. Sitting has been a nightmare. So I decided to visit a Chiropractor today. The guy cannot keep time, and I am very poor at waiting (lol). Anyway, after one and a half hours' wait, he finally showed up. The only reason why I waited that long was because I heard one of the other patients saying that he's had the same experience with this same doc several times, but he kept saying the guy is quite good, so I waited.

Never been to the chiropractor before. The adjustment was quite an experience, got some more painkillers, so I'll just wait and see how it goes.

I am on leave up to the 25th of September, so I have all the time to rest.

Keep sparking.

Lady, I hope this visit helps. After waiting forever, I got an MRI on my knee and physical therapy for my hip. It helped. I teach for a living too and think all grading messes up my back too. Take care of yourself.

Hope you are feeling better. My husband goes to a holistic chiropractor for his shoulder. It's a gentler for than he's used to but she helps him a lot.

    Hi there,

Back pain is a way of life for me, so I understand the way it can make you feel miserable. I don't think any chiro or doctor has a right to waste our time, making us wait that long. It really bugs me that they think their time is more important than ours is and I usually change doctors if that becomes a habit.

I hope that you are doing well after all of that.
Take care,
