My 6 year old's salad!

Thursday, September 06, 2012

As I promised yesterday, I've taken pictures of the salad my daughter came up with. As it turns out, there were a LOT of pictures; rather than upload all of them here (which takes FOREVER) I'll upload just one for you as a teaser, and redirect you to my full blog where I've written up the whole process and took a LOT of pictures.

Please do stop by and read the full thing with pictures. :)

Now that's a handy little device that makes veggies fun to eat ! I'll admit it, I wasn't much of a salad eater as a kid. I may not have liked salad, but I loved my broccoli ! that's the one green veggie I really did love to eat.

Oh and I prefer sauted zucchini to raw zucchini too !!

Cute. At first I thought you were going to talk about your 6 year old salad, and I was going to tell you that I think it has went past it's expiration date. LOL

Fantastic recipe and how wonderful that your 6 year old is interested in makeing (and eating!) salad like that. This will bode well for the future!! I often make lasagna using zucchini strips instead of noodles. Certainly reduces the calories and carbs and ups the veggie intake. Thanks for sharing!!!! I will be incorporating some of these ideas into my own salads. emoticon emoticon

I saw zucchini done like that recently. It's a great idea for a replacement for spaghetti.
