What a frustrating day!

Thursday, September 06, 2012

I had the call back for my mammogram today and there is defiantly a mass in my left breast. They tried to do an ultrasound on the breast to get another image and do a biopsy, but my breast is too dense and the mass is just under a 1/4 of an inch. So they have to schedule the biopsy another way. Through out the process the past few days I have come to realize I have some real control issues that I need to overcome. The feeling of being out of control over this issue has sent me on an emotional spiral.

To add to the problem since my hernia surgery in February I have put weight back on and am back over 300 lbs - which is the weight limit for their equipment here, so they have to do it out of network, which is going to involve traveling a great deal of way to have the biopsy done.

Funny right about now I would be reaching for food to comfort myself, but the thought of food is making me nausea. I think I am going to ask hubby to cook dinner for the kids.
