77 Days of Autumn - Changing seasons, changing me

Summer officially comes to an end at my house, the swimming pool is closed now and I am so sad because I was hoping to swim another 3-4 weeks. Our sand filter decided not to filter the water anymore so we had to close it a few weeks early. Swimming pool I will miss you and I look forward to water jogging and swimming next season !
Fall is the best time to get outside and walk., I feel very blessed to live in the country and to have a beautiful place to walk right outside my front door. It is so pretty out right now, the trees are green and the air is fresh(in the morning and evening) and hundreds of birds sing and chatter at me as I walk. Soon the leaves on the trees will start to turn yellow, orange, red and brown and the air will have a wonderful crispness to it. I would like to walk 3-4 miles at least 4-5 days per week.... to start I will do 1-2 miles on 4-5 days per week.
As the season changes, the produce choices change. I need to find some new healthy recipes using apples and pumpkin. I look forward to making some tasty veggie soup. I love all the healthy soups, savory casseroles, roasted chicken and veggies to name a few fall favorites.
I will make good choices during the holidays and remember that moderation is the key. When Halloween arrives I will not eat all the candy...maybe just a couple of snack size candies. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because family gets together, we cook together and hang out chit-chatting. My favorite Thanksgiving food is turkey breast. I plan to have a veggie tray to snack on so that chips and dip wont be as tempting...moderation. We make roasted brussel sprouts and they are so healthy and tasty... love them ! After dinner I will try to gather up as much family as I can and go for a nice walk !
I lost 30 lbs this summer between 5/5/12 and 8/30/12 during the 100 Days of Summer. I went down 2 pant sizes from size 18 to size 14. I lost 4.5 inches from my waist, 4.5 inches from my hips, 4 inches off each thigh (wow), about 3 inches from my chest, 1 inch off each calf, 1 inch off my upper arms and 3/4 inch off my neck.
My goal for 77 days of Autumn is to lose at least 15 lbs in 11 weeks. I mostly want to be healthy and fit and the number on the scale is not as important (sometimes I obsess about the number on the scale), but it would be nice to be into size 12 before winter.
"Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels". I can do this, we can do this !!!
