Yesterday, I was feeling a little tired but I had a lot to get done on my one day off, so I pushed through. Afterwards, I decided I needed a treat, so I went out for dinner to Applebees. Before I went, I checked their website to see the menu with nutritional values and I picked an entree that sounded good.
"Good" turned out to be an understatement. I ordered the Garlic Sirloin steak, served over a bed of grilled onions, with a creamed spinach stuffed portobello mushroom cap and herbed potatoes. It was the best meal I've had in a long time! From the first bite to the last, it was such a treat! It felt decadent. And it totally worked with my meal plan for the day - and not in that I-can-only-eat-lettuce-the-res
t-of-the-day way. It worked perfectly for all my nutrition goals in my meal plan.
It is a treat I will definitely repeat, and I recommend it to any of you.
