So now it's September....

Wow, it's been 4 months of maintaining and now 1 month of gaining a few pounds back. MUST STOP THE UPWARD TREND NOW!!! I worked hard Jan-Apr to build healthier habits; make eating well, getting regular exercise and good nights sleep a priority. Then the struggles started and I started making exceptions, but I maintained...as soon as I noticed a pound or two up, I got back down. This past month was hard and I fell into old bad habits. And I'm having a hard time getting back on track.

My first steps this week, is to go back to tracking. Yesterday, I tracked everything. Today I have planned well. And I must make sticking to it a priority today.

I feel like I need to keep reminding myself of how much better I will feel when I am on track again. And I have to start now....

    It's good to see you, and to hear that you are on track again. I am still struggling. I have not lost back the pounds I gained, but have not gained more pounds at least!

I am taking some inspiration from you!!!

    I think you have taken the most important first step: to acknowledge where you are. NOW you can begin the process again. Refer to your blog of August 15!!

This is a lifetime process for us. We will always be doing well for a while, then veering off track, than correcting. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Then die!

If you aren't feeling inspired this month, just do one new thing each day -- tracking is yesterday, what positive action can you add today? Fake it til you make it!
