I remember that feeling!

Sept. 4 Nutrition:
4:30 am
2 cups of coffee
5 tbsp creamer
1/2 serv. vanilla protein powder

7:30 am
2 Lowfat Nutrigrain waffles
1 Chobani lowfat Pineapple greek yogurt

2 cups frozen mixed veggies
20 grapes

2:30 pm
1 mocha
1 small banana

3 oz chicken breast
2 cups stir"fried" veggies
1 slice garlic sourdough bread
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup fatfree cottage cheese

3 Dove dark chocolate squares

It's good to get back to within range again, or at least closer to it. Dinner was delish and very satisfying. I swear I could live on chicken and veggies indefinitely (guess what I have for lunch today!)! If only Bill would agree with me LOL Ah well.

We walked down to the gym and stepped into the place for the first time in.. months. I literally cannot recall the last time we went to the gym. It's been that long. Sigh. It was nice to be there again. Jeff, one of the trainers, was Johnny-on-the-spot, greeting us right away with a 'good to see you guys!' which is why he's one of our favorite people there.

We both realized it had been long enough between visits that we could safely, without losing face, back off the weights a little bit if need be. As it happened though, nothing was insurmountable, and everything worked the muscles without taxing them too much. My left arm has always been 'weaker' than my right, and that was demonstrated clearly last night just with doing simply one arm rows. I need to pay a little extra attention to that left side to see if I can bring it along to more closely match my right. All in all, with appropriately timed grunts, we worked out and enjoyed ourselves.

We walked home afterward, and had a nice evening with the puppies before sending them off to crate and crawling into our bed later. We both groaned and moaned and laughed at how good it felt to feel so wrung out.

Here's to the first step of getting back on the muscle building track!
