To Weigh in or Not to Weigh in?

Hi Everyone, I hope you guys are doing good. Sometimes I wish I could comment on all you pages and blogs but just so you know I think about you and read them.
I have been playing with the idea of not weighing myself so much and just focus on creating healthy habits. What do you guys do? I find myself thinking about the number way too much but when I try not to step on the scale I end up doing it anyway. What is my problem, why can't I be happy that I am feeling good or went for my walk. I have to know if I lost any weight. I have to know if the effort I am putting in is paying off. Then I think the number shouldn't be so important. I should focus on how I am feeling or how my clothes are fitting. I am confused, what do you guys think?
My dilemma is should I weigh in every week or once at the beginning of the month and once at the end of the month. In my mind I think that I might lose more weight if I don't focus so much on the number the scale says. Maybe seeing one big number of weight lost as opposed to 2 lbs here and 3 lbs there will make me feel more of an accomplishment. I don't know what to do. I need to just make up my mind already. Please let me know what works best for you. Well thanks for listening to me ramble on. I hope you guys are reaching your goals.
