Getting sorted!

Wednesday, September 05, 2012

Hello my dear Sparkfriends,
Well I am half way through my week off from paid work.

Lots has happened! emoticon

I now have permanency at work and have been allocated my own Child Health Clinic. This means that I will be going to the same clinic everyday and no longer relieving! emoticon

This all happened on the 20th of August.

Hubby started his job on the 13th of August so now we are both back at work!

During my week off I have a list of jobs I need to do and am slowly getting them done. Off to get the tax return done with the accountant tomorrow morning, so am in the process of getting all the docs together.

The rowing machine needs a new part so have organised that. the spa is leaking from the oxygenator and that is being sorted.

Have contacted the insurance company about my daughter's car as it was deliberately ran into on Sat night! Yes we have all the details of the other driver. So that claim has been lodged and just have to get my daughter to complete a police report.

Have got back into exercising and did a good hour on the Wii Fit this am and took Sooty for a good walk as well.

Half way through sorting out all the paper work in the office and the wardrobe is also half way done!

In between all this activity I am having a rest on the couch after lunch and have dropped off to sleep for a while on both days. emoticon

My daughter and I are flying to Tasmania via Melbourne on the weekend of the 14th of September for my nephew's 18th birthday. We will leave Fri evening and be back Sunday evening. A VERY quick trip as we both work. It is a fancy dress party and it can be our own "fantasy" so am trying to think of what my "fantasy" is ?

My daughter and I have not been back to Tasmania for 18 months and my daughter has lost 25 kg and I have lost 13kgs , so it will be interesting to see how they react! I have actually warned my dad not to look too shocked when he sees his grand daughter. She looks fantastic and has done a great job of watching her portion control and keeping away from soda! Due to my age I have had to throw exercise into the mix,
but I love it as I have a great body shape with all the strength training I have done!
emoticon

Well I had better close off and get the rest of the tax docs sorted and look forward to hearing from you all.

Cheers
Libby

PS. Sooty is fully recovered from his episode on Friday night.

My MIL is in hospital and being treated for pneumonia and her scalp is healing well.Hubby and I will go see her tonight as our horrific stormy weather has passed.

Lots of good news, Libby. Aren't those afternoon naps refreshing? The couch is as good as a reclining chair to have a brief sleep in. Hope you get everything done this week and emoticon on the weight loss. -- Lou

    Wow Libby!

Lots and lots going on with you and your family. No wonder you haven't been here as much. That's okay with me, less for me to catch up on. Just because I haven't been Sparking as much either. I guess I'd better post a blog soon.

It's going to be good to show up to the party and looking good. Also, I'm glad Sooty is doing fine.

Nice to see that you finally have permanancy. I hope your husband
is enjoying his job. Sounds like you are getting organised and still
keeping up with your exercise and fitness regime.
I hope your MIL recovers quickly and gets back home.
Have you decided what to wear to the party yet? Enjoy your time in
Tassie. I'm glad Sooty is OK. Won't be eating chocolates for a while.
