Accountability blog - day 6

Tuesday 4th September.

Starting weight: 179.4

Goal weight: 135-140 (ish)


Drink 8 glasses of water a day ~ 9 glasses

Eat 5 fruits and veg a day ~ 5 portions

Eat between 1400 and 1800 calories a day ~ 1,335 (under calories but ok i haven't done much exercise this week)

Protein: 60-163 ~ yes 65

Carbs: 170-302 ~ Under 130

No alcohol Sun-Thurs ~ Had no alcohol

30 mins cardio, 3 time a week ~ 60 minute walk

2 x 15 sit-ups daily ~ done

Toning 2x per week ~ calf lifts and extra crunches (reverse crunches)

In bed by 10:00 ~ yes

Up by 6:00 ~ Goal met (up by 5:30)

Weigh only once a week ~ not weigh-in day

Log on daily ~ Goal met

Had a good day today, got out for a walk, with the kids on there bikes so i managed to walk a bit quicker with them today. They are back to school tomorrow so i am hoping to get out on the bike or go for a swim. I was actially under on my calories but i think they are set a bit higher as i was trying to burn 2000 calories a week but not sure i have made that this week anyway! I am really suprised that i am managing to stay in the lower end of the calorie range most of the time!

It's funny cause this time round i feel more like i want to get fit and healthy rather than focusing on the weighloss and scales - i know it's only been a week so far so we will see but i am really enjoying the variety of food and not feeling sluggish and guilty! I can't quite believe the difference that it makes.
