Thanks for the support with my Daughter

Tuesday, September 04, 2012

I know it isn't much but I have noticed that she has changed her status on facebook from in a relationship with ______ to removing that live all together. He still has that they are in a relationship. Thanks for the support and the much needed prayers. It is hard to watch them try to fly or fall. you want to fix everything for them. But this is a lesson she has to learn and I can't learn it for her.

Once again thank you!

sometimes we have to learn the hard lessons in life they make us stronger in the end, but when we watch our kids suffer its like someone has put a knife in our hearts....
I hope she makes the right decision and doesn't have to learn the hard lesson, but whatever she does, you know you'll be there for her to pick up the pieces, that's just what us moms do...
Your a great friend and I just know your a wonderful parent..... I wish the best for you and your daughter! It's her decision, but you'll be there when she needs you to be... emoticon

Just wanted to say hi and say I like your blog and I know what its like to raise a daughter. Its so hard not to say something and I felt bad when I didn't. Maybe in time she will see the real him or meet someone else. I hope so... emoticon

You are right to let her make her own decisions. You can support her and offer advice when she needs it but that's your only role now! Your daughter may feel she's "invested" so much time with this guy that she can't "waste" it. But in time she will realize that time marches on and she doesn't have any more time to waste!

Have faith in how you raised her. My daughter was a handful for a long, long time, but I have seen her return to many of the values I hold dear. So don't despair!
