An interruption of a hurricane named Isaac happened on August 29, 2012 in my neck of the woods. Seven years to the day of hurricane Katrina. The damage was minimal here. Although in other areas the people had water in their homes. The electricity was off for three days where I live. We were so thankful for the men that worked to restore our power lines. Lots of these people were from other states. We are so thankful to live in a country where we care for others and are willing to go the extra mile to help. It reminds me of the scripture that says: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. It is unfortunate that a storm named Isaac has to remind us of the truths about compassion and helping others.
I tried to stay on track but it was hard to do with no power, but I realize that life is not an easy path to travel. So even though we have interruptions we do not give up or quit. The way to success is to keep on persevering.
