I got up early today, (Labor Day) and went to Curves to exercise. I was able to get through without injury. It was a good workout. For my friends who have been asking, I am still sore some from my fall a few weeks ago, and my large bruise on my leg is not completely gone, but almost. I am seeing my chiropractor again tomorrow, and she has been amazing. But I am also going to have a Swedish massage for one hour just before my appointment. I am really looking forward to that. A relaxing massage to ease all of my muscles.
Also my daughter is doing much better from her distended bladder. Thank you friends for praying for her. This has been a long difficult thing for her. She still has to self cath, but now only twice a day. Urination is getting easier, but she has to really concentrate to get herself to go to the bathroom. She sees her doctor tomorrow as well. He has been a gift from the Lord, a specialist in both urology and gynecology. A Doctor who calls her back himself when ever she calls the office. Compassionate, caring, knowledgeable. A true gift from the Lord. And Madelyn is a blessed granddaughter. My daughter is doing better, and doesn't need me there all the time, so I am not running off to her home to take care of Madelyn all the time.
I plan to get back into my exercise, and my healthy living plans.
My husband is taking off this week from work and we are spending the week at home doing things around town, and that we need to get done at home. It was nice today to go to the movies and see "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" Kind of an odd movie, but fun. But there were also mosquitoes in the theater, and they bit me. With West Nile Virus going around I am not pleased with that.
On Saturday we had our first dinner with both our children and their children. (Our middle son was not able to come over.) Later at night my husband commented on how fun it was to watch each of the couples care for their respective child. Stryker's parents trying to get him to eat and not make a mess with his food. We had ice cream at the end and he tried to share his with his new cousin who his mom was holding at that time. (How sweet!!) Madelyn was sitting in the bouncy seat I have here, and let out a huge liquid BM and both her parents took her into our bedroom to change her. They had a big job to take care of. Madelyn was kind of fussy, and everyone who held her could not console her, until her daddy took her into his arms, walked him around a bit and she completely calmed in his arms. She knows her daddy and is happy to be held by him. We were celebrating her daddy's 31st birthday.
Children are a blessing of the Lord, and it is a double blessing from Him to be around to see our children's children.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and care. I am now ready to get serious again. But I am going to change up my goals a bit. I will be working them up and will put them into the next blog.
