The boys and I read this book called "Middle school- The worst years of my life" where the boy in the story decides to break every rule in the rule book. He puts points to each thing done and has to get a certain amount of points each day or he loses 1 of his 3 lives. So I told the boys "Lets make our own point book where we give ourselves points for things that improve what's important to us."
So the boys point book is filled with things like practice karate or wake up on time or get homework done.
My book is filled with
Drink shake= 1 pt
Stay within cal range= 5 pts
Burn 100 cal= 2 points
Message accountability partner= 1 point
Blog= 3 points
Run a mile (I hate running)= 3 points
Go down a pant size/ tight pants are loose= 10 pts
Actually teach my first dance class= 200 pts
(ect because I want at least 20 things I can choose to do in a day to get points)
My goal for each day is 25 pts for right now.
Any points more than that is extra credit.
If I get 100 points added up in extra credit I get my reward that I set for that 100 pts. (yes when I teach my first dance class I auto get a reward... possibly 2 because I will have burned the calories and ect for the day)
My first reward is 50$ at Joannes or on new clothes.
My second reward is what I didn't use as the first one.
And I got a new notepad for it :) I loooooooove new notepads... I'm a nerd.
But this is like a game and I usually do really good with games.
BTW blog... 3 points!!! 22 to go for the day :)

Put on makeup and feel pretty=2
