I have been following a blog on www.peak313.com
. The lady who does the blog is Clare. She is a personal trainer and teaches fitness classes, but what I love most about her site is that she combines spiritual values with the physical aspect. I have always believed that it is important to take care of our bodies as Jesus' Temple. With this challenge, you commit to working out at least 4 days a week, for a minimum of 25 minutes (I usually do 6-7 days a week, 45-90 minutes, so no problems there), then you also memorize a weekly Bible verse. She also recommends having accountability with others. Does anyone want to join me in this challenge? It officially starts this Monday (Sept 10th). I am excited to have the opportunity to combine my fitness with growing closer to God!
