That’s what today, Labor Day, is to many people—the end of the summer season. Not officially, of course, since fall doesn’t roll in until September 22. But today is often the end of summer rentals…summer hours…lifeguards at the pool. So why not take this so-called “last” day and do something that “you meant to do but never did”? That’s a suggestion from KF Della’Antonia in her New York Times Motherlode Blog. The choices are endless—it could be grilling food you’ve never grilled…going to an outdoor concert…or visiting a local town/park/museum/attraction that you’ve always been curious about. That way you will really put your mark on the summer.
