I wasn't really paying attention to my total SparkPoints or fitness minutes were until the other day when I saw a lot of "likes" in my feed because I had crossed over 60,000 minutes and then 69,000 SparkPoints. Those numbers look pretty impressive, eh? But really, they are just numbers, and they won't buy anything (well, except Spark Goodies, which I do love to give out and don't do nearly often enough!).
That started me thinking about what all those SparkPoints and minutes HAVW done. They've taken me from this:
Amazing what those points and minutes can do, isn't it? I never imagined that I'd make it this far when I started, 108 pounds down and within 4 pounds of a healthy BMI for the first time in decades. Now I'm looking at the next big challenge: maintenance and trimming body fat. That's a subject for another blog, though!
Hang in there, friends. Keep logging on, spinning the wheel, reading and writing and working out to the best of your ability. It pays to keep trying until you find the combination that works for you, because we only really fail when we give up and quit trying.
