So I'm starting September two pounds higher than I started August.
And I can't even blame Aunt Flo.
I've got to figure out what mental black has me in stasis.
Last night I went out to dinner with some friends. All four of us have lost 100 pounds or more, and all four of us are struggling right now. It was an interesting conversation.
The one thing I think we all have in common is inconsistency with our exercise. We all workout, but probably not as often as we should or at the intensity that we should. We're probably all consuming more sugar than we should too.
I don't think any of us really walked away from the table with a lot of new ideas. (We actually got sidetracked by a long "50 Shades" detour.)I think it's really about getting back to basics. Doing what you know works well with consistency. Not just a few days a week, but every day of every week.
As my doctor said a couple of weeks ago, I've worked too hard to let all of this slide. I think I'm going to start posting my meals and exercise in the blog for a while. Just for accountability's sake.
