Last week I snatched the 15:15 protocol for 12 minutes. This week, it was 14 minutes, 168 snatches.
I don't know why this keeps surprising me, but fatigue never set in. My snatches by the end were generally better in form than the snatches in my first few sets.
I rested for about 10 minutes afterwards, and then finished up my workout with 120 swings (60 in 6 minutes, then 60 in 4 minutes).
I hit one minor snag this week. The snatches do lead to calluses on my hands, and I tore one on Wednesday while doing pull-ups. Lesson learned--I need to start practicing good hand care. I had to tape one callus for my snatches today. Now I am buffing the high callus spots with a pumice stone daily.
Next Sunday, my sights are set on 192 snatches in 16 minutes on a 15:15 protocol.
