My grandmother always told me, "In order to get something that you never had, you have to do something that you never done." This phrase has always carried me through life. I am 30 now, and I believe more than ever this is true. I own my own business and so does my husband. I have stepped completely out on my own. Now, I am serious about losing weight. I have always been active, but for me I want to be fit. I have started being committed to sparkpeople and logging in everyday (at least 3 times each day). I am measuring my food, which I never use to do. I am counting calories and taking losing weight seriously now. I can see small changes in me. I mess up from time to time, but I am staying with the plan and not detouring. I am committed to this for the long haul. I know that my persistence and determination will payoff, in the long run.
