Day 14 Can Get Satisfaction
Have I mentioned how incredibly TASTY the food is without grains and sugar? A typical day’s menu for me is:
Breakfast: bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese
Lunch: chicken salad
Dinner: grilled steak and mixed salad with (full fat) Blue Cheese dressing (sometimes berries and cream for dessert)
Snacks: macadamia nuts, coconut,1 square of dark chocolate
A couple days ago I was on my bi-weekly trip to Costco and it was Samplepolozza: Oreo cookies, Stacy’s pita chips, Pizza, etc. at every turn. Didn’t stop, didn’t wish I could. Instead, I marveled at how “proud” I was of the things I had in my cart and how many processed foods Costco sells that I will never have to worry about again. Lighter on my feet and lighter on my budget, all at the same time!
Unlike the Rolling Stones, I can get satisfaction and I’m doing it one day at a time.
