August is over already, it went so fast. School started this last week and I'm already working! As a substitute that can be rare, but as a long term sub it works out nicely. It will be interesting to see how things go now that I am back to working and not home all of the time. It will change some of my goals and how I go about achieving them.
Goals went well, enough anyways. I got over 500 fitness minutes, that was awesome! I tracked, I think almost every day. The days I skipped either happened by accident, or happened this last week when school had started. I need to start taking the time in the evening to just sit down and enter all my food. I did not get strength training in twice a week each week. I made it a couple of weeks, but then it just started falling apart.
Having goals was great, it helped to keep me motivated and working and watching what I was eating. I have learned so much about portion sizes and what to eat that as school has started and I see kids eating giant slices of pizza, I want to snatch it from them and tell them to find something better to eat for lunch. I haven't decided on my goals for September yet, but I'm getting there. I think I may repeat some from August, my lifestyle has changed a bit so they will need to be goals again.
