Today we had Krispy Kreme for breakfast - my DH suggestion in front of our DD. So off to KK (or diet sabatoge), I ate my doughnuts and drank my milk.

Then I got busy - I cooked a SPARK recipe because I NEEDED to. I was looking for some volume but low calorie and high nutrient value (to balance out the empty breakfast choice). It worked to my advantage. I found a new recipe that I liked (and I made DH and DD join me) .

    While you were not thrilled with the choice of KK, you did well. Sometimes when you have a DH and kid(s) you make those choices. It is what you did later that impresses me. Think about how many times in the past you would have then blown the rest of the day by just throwing it away. Today you not only didn't throw away the rest of the day - eating ONE doughnut with a glass of milk is NOT a disaster either. It may not be a SUPER healthy choice but it is ONE DOUGHNUT not a whole box of them. Even choosing to GO OUT for the doughnut rather than boxes in the house is a GOOD decision.

I would give you an A for how you dealt with your eating today.
