Seated exercises are saving me now. I am so glad to find the seated exercise videos on SparkPeople. Today Coach Nicole taught me the proper form for arm & shoulder exercises with dumbbells through video. Since I have limited mobility, I really appreciate learning about beneficial exercise in addition to PT daily functional exercises which are not intense enough anymore.

(Without dumbbells, I just followed through with the form of it all, since I think the children absconded with the 2 pound weights & the 3 pound ones are too heavy for me right now. I read about using canned goods as for a substitute, but my hands are too small to hold them firmly & I drop them. Will purchase dumbbells soon, because I realize they will give more benefit to the workouts.)

BTW, I am coming to adore & respect Coach Nicole. Thanks, Coach - you are making a difference in my life. emoticon emoticon
