So I made it another month. Here are the pictures of how I am now.
I think I did good on weight loss this month over all. My inches didn't go down that much, but I'm mostly concerned with my hips and waist, and they did by over an inch each. Pretty exciting!
Maybe I should try setting some goals for the month ahead. Okay, where to start? Now I know back in July I said I wanted to exercise everyday, but I didn't. Thought I could in August, but the week I cut my thumb I barely did anything. So let's try again. I am aiming to do something everyday. This shouldn't be too hard. MWF I do my 10k training, TThSa I cross-train on the elliptical. So I guess it comes down to getting out and doing something with the family every Sunday. I can do that!
Another goal might be to start making better decisions when Ted and I go out to eat with my mom. We tend to spend 1-3 days a week with her, shopping and whatever. She takes us out to lunch, but I don't always make the best decisions. I will work on that. Like yesterday we went out and got fish fries. I'm going to start convincing myself to order the broiled fish instead of the beer battered. I can do this. I already make sure I take at least half my meal home so my husband can take it to work the next day.
Well, no point in me making too many goals, since that could cause me to fail. I will also work on losing at least 5lbs this month. I don't want to push myself to hard since when I say I want to lose more, I don't. I did manage to lose about 11 lbs in August though. Aiming low should allow me to actually reach my goals. I'm pretty sure I'm putting on some muscle with my 10k training, so that's good.
