Since it is the start of a new month and I am feeling discouraged already I decided to measure to see if I lost as much progress as I thought. I had only previously measured my waist at two points and I am up at least an inch in both.

So here goes:

Weight - 258.3
Waist below belly button - 51.5
Waist Above belly button--47
Hips - 48.5
Thigh - 25.5
Upper Arm - 16.25
Body Fat % - 40.7
Body Fat Mass - 105

Weight is down slightly from yesterday. Body Fat% is down from 41 the last time I measured it. Everything else is up. Time to get focused and deal with this full on otherwise I am just going to end up having to buy bigger clothes and I refuse to do that.

I'm finalizing my goals and plan for the month of September over the weekend. I know I can do this, I just need to put forth more effort.

    What a wonderful chance we have-starting fresh for a fresh month! I will also spend time today planning my goals and desired achievements for this month.....my numbers aren't great either, but thank you! I am going to post my measurements and will check to see if I have changed them by Oct 1st. What a wonderful idea! I have never gone by measurements before, so let the challenge begin!

    Good luck with getting on track - I'm so there with you. Trying to regain enthusiasm for exercising as well as tracking and am taking this new month as chance to start over - again lol. Don't look back, just forward & no matter where you've been or where you're starting from if you get your goals sorted and your head in the right place come the end of the month you will be less in all areas than you were at the start of the month!

just remember, take one day at a time and any stumbling just start over again the following day - can you tell I'm trying to convince myself too lol.

    Don't be discouraged! We have a solid plan to get September off to a good start. You've already met one of the goals -- to do at least one blog this weekend. Now if you can do 20 minutes of exercise today and avoid pop, then you'll be right on track.

It is hard. And it is easy to get discouraged. But it's a new month, so it's a fresh chance to do well. And you're off to a good start! Even the SparkGods know that because they awarded you 20 points on the SparkWheel today. :-)

    A new month is a good time to start fresh!! Don't be discouraged about your numbers being up, just move along, eat well, exercise often and you will see those numbers head down where you want them to be!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
