First day of spring

My best friend is leaving to teach English in Korea, as if that isn't enough to dive head first into emotional eating I don't know what is, however, as a going away night, all the girls are getting together for a pj's and movies sleep over. This is awesome in itself, but obviously not at all diet friendly. Fine, fine, I've written today off as a diet day. I will make up for it during next week.

I only got your comment now, so alas I didnt read your sensible words. I felt gross after I ate all the rubbish. But I really never do, so once wont hurt. I can say this, its like quitting smoking, you think to yourself... how did I ever used to like this!

Looks like you're giving in to easily. There is still hope. Now that you have said this it's not too late. You can change the situation. If you continue on with this mindset you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have made a big step my joining Sparks. This means you want to make healthy choices. There is no time but the present now to act on them. Arm yourself. Pack a bag full of fruits, veges, yogurt or pudding, some kind of snack food, cottage cheese, cheese and so on. I think you get the idea. It's okay to have a snack on a tad bit of junk food. Stick to the serving size. Graze on the bag throughout the day Make sure to pack it full of healthy food. Then that way you're not depriving yourself. By doing this you will be surprised how easy it was to make healthy choices.
