Lose 5%

The "By The Numbers" Spark team started a challenge to lose 5% of our weight by Labor Day 2012. I joined and actually met my goal a few days early. I really liked the challenge and decided to set myself that goal again.

I am going to do my very best to lose 5% of my current body weight by December 1st. That means, that I will go from 176.2 to 167.4 in 3 months. I think I can do it. It's not too unreasonable to lose roughly 3 pounds a month. I have set goals of 5 pounds a month in the past and have failed miserably many times. I really like this 5% thing. It is very doable and I feel like I am making progress at a pace my body can handle.

So, here we go!
