Where do I start?

Well, unfortunately here I am again completely off the bandwagon, not even in line for a smh...but knowing that I have got to start working out and eating right. I havent worked out in over 2mos and my eating habits right now are just spiraling out of control. I look at the food I order and cook knowing how horrible it is for me and still stuff myself and then feel like a complete moron afterwards. WTH?????????????????? Where should I start, I need ya'lls help spark family???? Should I do a cleanse, try a week of eating healthy, a week of working out, both what, what, what....Help me please!!! I've gone from 187 to 194 I don't want to see 200 again I refuse.....Sincerely.....lost and drowning!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I agree with the ladies,

    start with baby steps & work your way back to what got you to the 190's.

    I am not just talking, I'm in the same boat and doing just that. I had a grapefruit with my bagel, I cut the coffee today too. I have chili for lunch with broccoli & tomatoes in it and for dinner I'm having a salad with my chicken.

    start with small changes. you don't want to overwhelm yourself. That's how you fail in this journey. Make one change and as soon as that becomes a routine, move on to the next one. You can do it. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Thank you very much that is what I was thinking myself just start with something small and add something everyday. Great confirmation, and keep up the good work yourself.

    Start with today. Start with taking a ten minute walk today, eating a salad or bowl of low calorie soup before your dinner, taking a banana and some grapes to work for a snack. I know this sounds very 12-steppy, but, take it one step at a time, every day.

    i am in that mode right now. I feel I am right there in that ocean with no idea which direction land may be, and I can't swim. It sucks. So I grabbed something I am familiar with and went with it (In my case, meeting my hydration goals) It may not seem like much, but it is something can say I accomplished instead of failed at.

    So find your thing that you can accomplish and go with that, and then add another thing to it. emoticon
