8/1: WOW! Rough... I felt terrible, I could barely function. The sugar/carb withdrawals are the worst. I went to bed at 8pm because I had the worst headache and stomach twirlies! :(
8/2: Not much better but able to get through the day....
8/3: Getting a little better. The sick feeling is there but not as bad. My cravings are also not as severe.
8/4: Hard day because friends invited me out for drinks and I just couldn't risk it... what is one Saturday night at home... :)
8/5: Made my meal plans and got recipes ready then went grocery shopping at TJs and WF! Got everything I needed!! :)
8/6: Precooked lots of stuff, cleaned the house, and make an awesome dinner!! I did find out I used 2 things yesterday that were not whole30 approved so I need to tighten up and watch ingredients! :)
8/7: I had a long day at work but still managed to eat my 3 meals and wasn't hungry!! Need to get more exercise so I signed up for a bootcamp that starts next week! ;) The scale is one of the hardest things to give up... but I am still going strong! :)
8/8: Another good day! Mowed the grass for some extra exercise! :)
8/9: LONG DAY! I had a 12 hour shift at the salon so by the time I got home it was 10pm! I ate a very small portion of leftover roast and then watch the olympics for about 45 minutes. After that I went to bed... slept pretty good! :)
8/10: So far today is going good although I gave into temptation and weighed myself!!! :( I was so disappointed that I did that. But I will not weigh again until the end of this month!
8/11: Attended a couples baby shower with my husband and was surrounded by temptations and I did not slip at all! I feel amazing!!!
8/12: Cooked lots of stuff today for this week. :)
8/13: Had a great grocery day! LOVE IT! Zumba whooped my butt! I need to master my pre and post workout meals!
8/14: Went to a new boot camp class and boy was it tough!! Hope this helps me feel even better! :)
8/15: Good Day.
8/16: Great Day! Even went out to eat with my little cousin who ordered the craziest, fattiest stuff and I didn't budge!!! WOOHOO!
8/17: Kinda having a crappy day! :( Just in a foul mood... hopefully it passes. I did pass on the yummy looking chocolate cake we had at work! OHHH YEAH!
8/18: Worked and then had a lazy Saturday for once! It felt great! :)
8/19: Went to an amusement park with my little cousin and had a blast!! Not a lot of choices at the park so I had the cheapest thing... pizza! But I drank loads of water and walked tons so I do not feel too bad. ;)
8/20: Had two people notice my changes!!! Felt great! :)
8/21: Another restless night... hope I can figure out what the deal is...
8/22: Made the best Fish Tacos tonight! They will definetly be a staple! :)
8/23: Went to dinner with a friend and got dessert! :( It wasn't even good... boo!
8/24: Another night at volleyball without any alcohol! WOW!
8/25: Managed to go out to dinner and a show with zero cheats! WOOHOO!
8/26: Today was a complete non-compliant day! My parents came to visit and boy do they have a bad influence on me! :( But I did take a nice long hike/walk with them! Tomorrow I will get back on track and drink lots of water!!!
8/27: Back on track! WOOHOO!!! Preplanned some of my meals and went to the grocery. Also made it to Zumba!!
8/28: Pretty good day. Only negative is that I got off work very late and didn't eat dinner until almost 10pm! :(
8/29: I can't believe tomorrow is my last day of the whole 30 program!!! It's been crazy hard but totally worth it! Can't wait to weigh in on Friday!!! :)
8/30: Last day!!!! Man what a journey! I feel great! Weigh in tomorrow to see exactly how much it paid off.. but no matter what the number I will be happy! I plan on eating Paleo (clean) for the next couple of weeks then starting the Whole30 again and try to make the whole 30 days without fail! :)
8/31: I DID IT!!! WOOHOO!!! I feel awesome! :) I am down 13lbs, a full jean size, and my
skin/hair looks awesome!!!
What a wonderful experience! So worth the awful first week!! I am going to continue eating paleo (Same as whole30 but add in small amounts of dairy, legumes, grains, etc). Then on 9/9/12 I plan on doing another Whole30. This time I will go into with a better understanding of what foods are best and already have some experience in the process. My goal is to make it the full 30 days without any slips!
If you are looking for a program to help rid yourself of bad habits, cravings, and that gunky feeling.. this is it!!! I feel like a different person and it kicks ass! :)
