jumping jacks!

Friday, August 31, 2012

Sooo...I detox myself the nice healthy way. No pills,no weird detox stuff that is really harsh on the body. I drank lots of water and got lots of rest and my body is now bounced back! So glad I woke up with out a Migraine. I'm really big on not taking medication or any type of pills,I like healing naturally. Doctor once told me to take some pill 1 daily regardless if I had a migraine cause it prevents them and I was like "Um no". I believe there is better ways. I proved to myself already that I don't need pills,I just need a healthy "change" to cure my migraines. Now if my detoxing didn't work I would have panicked thinking it was more serious. I'm totally going to look into the Crystal Light Pure and Crystallized lemon stuff that was suggested.

I got a call from Kirby people yesterday to come and do a full shampooing on my Carpet in 2 rooms of choice for free. I picked my two largest room which is family and living room. I've been wanting to get a vacuum/shampooer for a long time cause with 1 messy room mate and 3 furbabies..my carpet can get a bit tooo dirty. emoticon SO,we ended up getting the Kirby! I knew it was going to happen...My mom and my hubbys mom both have had their Kirbys forever and never replaced. So,I got my own and it also is a shampooer so I'm happy. emoticon

So,with the shampooing being free we went all out and moved EVERYTHING in the two rooms. I was happy to have my Husbands help. We put all the recliners in my garage, couches in kitchen and everything else in Exercise room. We made sure Every inch of carpet was free for shampooing. My carpets are SPOTLESS! With that being said..cause the kitchen was full of couches.Soon as the guy left I got to work and moved all the furniture in the house to new spiffy spots. My family room has a new look and my living room does too all by switching up the furniture. Man,if only that family room was Painted it would be totally finished! emoticon

I have to say with my 2 couches and my 2 recliners being so heavy, then moving coffee tables and lamps it was a spiffy work out. I moved everything by myself cause hubby was at work. I hope he likes my changes to the house I have a very open long house so it was a work out going back and forth. I felt it in my arms and thighs emoticon So this was my workout today, since I still have stuff in exercise room I don't have my usual workout stuff to do but I did however do a total of 200 jumping jacks through out late last night when my migraine left me. emoticon I read somewhere yesterday that jumping jacks are an awesome workout and boy were they right. My calves are sore! I'm going to attempt to do 200 more before bedtime tonight. emoticon emoticon

And I'm glad that your migraine's better! That's awesome that you were able to get rid of it naturally... I think too many people want to take a pill to cover up the symptoms, but unless you fix the problem it's just going to come back.

It can be so nice having a change in the house, but having it thoroughly clean is always wonderful! Add in a workout from pushing furniture around and you hit a trifecta! hehe

I wish I could get rid of my migraines like that! Mine is pretty much impossible to get rid of (having one for decades kinda proves that) without medical intervention - and even the treatments they're giving me aren't working. Is it possible that your headache is from a vitamin/mineral imbalance? If water and rest gets rid of your migraines, perhaps that's what's going on. Have you ever had blood tests done during a migraine? I've never heard of anyone else being able to stop a migraine that way, so it's just a thought. If you can find out what's causing your migraines then you can adjust to accomodate that.
