A Little Late on Today's Blog...

Thursday, August 30, 2012

Usually I write my blogs early, but I just wasn't with the program today, or lately.

I didn't want work out but, I got my butt in gear and did 25 minutes on the elliptical, 5 minutes more than normal, and did 35 minutes on the treadmill working on hill intervals. So I was alternating between 6% incline and 12% incline, all at a steady 3.5 mph pace. I was going to go do the bike, but people were using the room and I was super tired. So I decided to back home and force myself to do not just an upper arm ST but my core as well. So I did.

Afterwards I got cleaned up and started reading my new Shape magazine. Jillian Michaels was on the cover, and sadly nothing PCOS related was mentioned. It's a shame that the US media tells actors, tv personalities, and even models to keep quiet about PCOS. It's one of the reason why I think PCOS is much worse than it should be. Half way through I could barely keep my eyes open so I decided to take a nap. I rarely take naps, but when it gets to the point of having issues staying awake, I usually know that's when I need to go ahead a take one. It was about 2 hours long, so fairly short for me. Hopefully it won't affect my sleep adversely tonight.

So that's why I am writing later than normal. On the food front, I am still not eating very well, but I'll get better by next week. I realize that July wasn't my month because of the injury, August wasn't my month because of school and stress, but September, PCOS Awareness Month, I will definitely own. I have a plan to beat my current plateau as well as work in exercising into my new "college" lifestyle.

Well, that's it for now! Have a great day everyone!!
