I know I haven't blogged in awhile but I feel like I should now since it will be the end of my two weeks of laziness. My ankle has been hurting a lot since I started my 2nd job and I'm standing for at least 4 hours. Because of this my arthritis dr sent me for physical therapy. I was freaking out the other day as to how I'm going to fit this in. Right now my day consists of working from 7-4 during the week, fit in dinner and then work from 6-10. This week I only have 1 night off from my night job. I broke down at 2nd job the other day and they told me they would work around whatever I needed. That was very nice of them since I have only been there a month.
Anyway, I made it to physical therapy and I was told I couldn't run for a bit while we figure out what is going on. But, I CAN STILL DO MY WEIGHT LIFTING! NROLFW HERE I COME!
He also said when I am able to run again I need to get new shoes that are either New Balance, Asics or Saucony and have to use inserts. I just got the inserts from Amazon and hope to be able to go for a small 20 minute run this weekend... just to see the difference. Clearly I would never dismiss the drs. instructions.
Off to weight lift!
