Injuries totally suck.
I've been babying my piriformis for 2 weeks, a few slow, flat walks and general work around the house. Lots of stretching, ice & heat, etc.
Yesterday, I was just too antsy. I am really missing my cardio workouts. I decided to take a slow run to test it out. After the first mile I had to stop & stretch :/ but it wasn't feeling too terrible. Last night I stretched really good and didn't have any real pain this morning. I did a light workout this morning, concentrating on arms, but did do a few leg strengthening exercises on the boflex. And now... my piriformis is VERY GRUMPY!!
I'm bummed. Sigh. Pout. Sigh.
I only have 30 days to get in bikini shape for our Jamaica trip. We made all of our reservations yesterday. I'm SOOOO Excited!!
