I am really having a hard time lately. I don't know what's wrong with me but I have no motivation to exercise. I only ran once this week and it's already Thursday. I ate a super gross hot dog on a white bread bun yesterday followed by half a pint of ice cream. My stomach hurt for hours afterwards. I feel tired and sluggish and I'm starting to doubt whether or not I can actually continue eating well and exercising every day for the rest of my life. When I don't exercise I feel tired and weak, then I use being tired as an excuse not to exercise even though I know without a doubt that I will feel less tired once I start. I really need to get myself together again.

****Updated****

Went on a 30 minute, 2 mile walk during my lunch break. Hoping this is a step back in the right direction for me.

Me too. I got sick a few weeks ago, and have had a hard time getting on track since. I hope to get back into running again this week. Why is it so hard to start after stopping! UGH!!!!!!

Blame it on the full moon, I have been feeling the same way, eeking out little snacks that I know I can do without just because I have calories left on the day. I can't stand feeling deprived. You can get through this. Give yourself a little motivation via a reward for running three times next week. A new book, a new pair of shoes, something you've had your eye on?! Eye on the prize, as they say!

Yes, this happens to all of us. I think it's part of life. One moment in time, one event or feeling doesn't define us. We're much bigger and stronger than we perceive ourselves. The cycles of our lives are not stationary (ok, bad pun on me). Small changes, gradual improvement, is easier to do and lasts longer. You did at least one good thing. You posted this blog. That's a victory. And your fingers got a workout too!
