It's still windy and raining off and on, but the bands are farther in between. We do still have tornado watches.
It has been a loooong tropical storm (for us) hurricane for those farther west.
The few times I've ventured out, it's been hot and humid.
It as been long and stressful, but we were so lucky. I feel so bad for those in Mississippi and Louisiana. Tomorrow, they'll be assessing the damage and we'll see how bad they fared. We were so, so lucky...
I sure hope we can say to Isaac early tomorrow. I think they should skip the I's in naming the storms...I think I heard that since 2001, they've retired 7 "I" names from the list. I know Ivan and Irene were horrendous...now Isaac...enough with the I's!
