Fruitful Busy Day

Thursday, August 30, 2012

Deuteromony 10:21 HE is thy praise and HE is thy GOD, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

I want to praise the LORD for a very fruitful day. I have been trying to clean house for the past three days. It seemed there were all kinds of interruptions and distractions. I really got frustrated yesterday. The washer broke again. The part won't be here until tomorrow. The cost was expensive, too. But today was great. No interruptions, I just moved along like a locomotive. lol Five hours later, I had the three bedrooms finish and some of the bathroom. Then hubbie and I went to the mall to do the 5k training walk of 2.25 miles. We ran so late the mall was close to closing. So we went to Walmart down the street. We did interval walking, weaving in and out the aisles and between each department. Boy we were sweating and breathing hard. By the second time I check my pedometer we had walked 2.89 miles in 38 minutes. Wow! For a lame old chick and honey that was pretty good. It averaged out about 12.6 minutes a mile. I was so tickle. I love this training. Something I never knew I could do. Thank you LORD for helping me.

Never knew you could walk that fast in Walmart. lol (I do walk in Walmart, a super center) . But working out in my garden I can lose more calories.... its the calories lost that count. lol ) Just hope you dont buy more to eat; least not more than you take off. lol. One bad thing about walking at Walmart, you probably spend more money there. Hugs, susana
