The summer of food!

Wow.

It really was the summer of food. I had set the goal to lose the 10 pounds I put on LAST Christmas (2010) and ran and did many summer activities. I failed to take off the weight, BUT maintained the same weight all summer. I was shocked since there were many BBQs and opportunities to cheat (and I did) but still maintained my weight. I guess the running really helps. I really want to get this 10 pounds off, but I'm just too lazy to do it. I tell myself, "I ran, I can eat this today." Ugh. Oh well.

I'm doing 3 runs this fall. I'm happy about that. I'll also start training for another 1/2 marathon in January. Hopefully I can get back on a better track with my eating (I eat pretty good on the weekdays, weekends are usually a bust.)

I'm back at work...and I'm around a lot of healthy eaters. YAY! They give me a lot of encouragement. They also don't LOL...saying, "Oh you RUN, and YOU LOOK GREAT!" Yeah, pass the cake. LOL

I will get better. I know I can, because I've done it before. I just need to get strict again...and keep on running...which I love.

Thank goodness.

    I know where you're coming from! But maintaining is still a lot better than gaining.
