So I have given myself a 42 week Challenge as the title says...lol.
My Challenge is to be able to run 5 miles straight AND to have lost at least 40 lbs.
And I know some people thing putting a number to your weight isn't good and I kinda agree but I know that 40 lbs would put me at 140 which is a healthier size for me. I haven't been that size in about 7 years now I think?.
But anyways. Why 42 weeks you might ask.....well.....the hubby and I are seriously thinking of going to Aruba for our July vacation next year (a little over 42 weeks)!!!! So excited. I have never been out of country besides to Canada and NEVER to the Caribbean! (did I spell that wrong?!..lol)
So because we are going to Aruba (as of now, plans could change), I HAVE to be able to comfortably wear a bathing suit on the beach so in order for that to happen I gotta lose the weight! I would HATE to go to the beach and be wearing jeans and tshirts because I am self concious about my body/weight.
About the running 5 miles straight....I do really like to run but I am just so out of shape I can't do it for every long. I want to be able to just run and not get super winded. I want to be one of those people that can run and run and hardly get tired.
To obtain that challenge I am doing the Rookie Running program on here. Started Day 2 today! It wasn't to bad. I can't wait to do it again on Friday!
And sorry this is all jubbled together. I just wanted to post this really quick before I go to bed....Kinda tired!...lol
