When I was in weight watchers we learned all about how licks bites and tastes added up to big calories. We also learned catch phrases like "If you bite it write it" "If you snack it track it. Well today I made a lasagne's and I love cheese so i had quite a few licks and tastes and some bites but I'm proud to say I tracked them. My licks and tastes added up to 150 calories. While I'm not happy that I ate these things i am happy that I didn't lie to my self or cheat out my efforts by not tracking. My plan for dealing with he lasagne's is this Its cooling and later ill put it in the fridge to rest over night. Tomorrow Ill allow myself one piece of lasagne's for a meal with a salad and then ill cut out a few portions and freeze them individually for later use. The rest ill feed to my family.... My family loves my lasgina and I like that they will eat it.... Its loaded with veggies, this one has peppers, onions, spinach, zucchini, carrots, tomato's, and mushrooms in it that's more veggies than they usually eat.
For excersize today I went for a walk I set out and walked 20 min up the road before turning around to walk back. I saw a hereon flying up the creak bed and I know its going to sound weird but i actually enjoy looking at all the trash on the side of the road. I think its the scosiologist side of me walking along and looking at the things that people throw away or lose makes me feel a little like a archaeologist.... I should really turn this into something positive and do the adopt a roadway thing.
Now I have to ask how long did it take people before they felt the results of the positive health changes they had made? I am about 4 days into better eating and more movement and I already feel like my posture has improved.
