Today I started out after reading my Sparks Coach in the beginning not wanting to exercise. I was tired from yesterday's three hours of picking blackberries and walking. It was getting hot and I didn't really feel like moving. I had just finished breakfast and come home from the library with some movies to watch. So I read Spark Coaches material about exercise excuses and how to over come them. there were like 40 on one page and 100 on another page. I just decided to map my route and then got up and started walking with Nikita. We walked two hours by time I got home. I burned up 500 calories. I think mapping my route out is fun and I get to see where I am going to walk instead of walking and then trying to decide how far it is.
Another Excuse for strength training is, I don't want to. I had strength training yesterday and i walked so much that i just didn't want to do it. I think on Thursday i won't walk and will just do strength training, thus I won't be to tired to do it. I need to start building muscle while I am losing weight. I don't' want to have extra skin hanging off of me after I lose all this weight because there is no muscle underneath.
One more excuse is I will walk the dog in the evening. and i never do. I have to exercise in the afternoon or morning or it won't get done. Due to it getting late even if it's cool, i still won't go outside and walk the dog. So if i really was to walk the dog in the evening, I should walk her before I start to watch movies or before I have dinner. because then i wont' be so tired.
What are your excuses?
