Today sure was better

Tuesday, August 28, 2012

After my bout of not feeling well after my walk on Sunday, I was really hesitant in walking today. HOWEVER, it was a great walk and felt fine after emoticon. I walked 2.39 miles emoticon.

Decided to not use the pedometer and used my iPhone timer. Set it for 30 min and when the time was up I knew I turned around and took the same route back home, thus, giving me an 1 hr. of emoticon today. That worked out great.

My oldest grandchild graduated high school. Is he aging me or what??? I just can't believe how fast they grow up. Here is a photo of when he was in pre-school and graduated from there, although he called it 'grageation':

and his current graduation photo:

since you are feeling better I can give you a call, your grandchild doesn't look much different even if he is older

I love it when people do these vlogs of their walks and such. I think it is a great idea to set timer for 30 minutes and then turn around and walk back to get your hour in. Oh the places you can go! I might try this myself!

Hallelujah! I'm so glad you're feeling better, that whatever "visited" you made it a short visit.

Walking underneath such stately trees must have been pleasant. Will you get an autumn in southern California? I'm ashamed to say, I don't have a clue. Born and raised in Cleveland OH, all I have to do is THINK the word "autumn" and I can smell the crisp, dry earthy smell of dried leaves. Of course, now with my roots planted in central Florida, we miss out on that wonderful season, mostly: the acorns still fall, and that's always a mess to clean up.

Handsome grandson, there! From where did your ancestors come to give him the fair complexion and red hair?
